Hi! We are Scott and Holly. We are out in nature so often we should probably change our “out of office” message to “Gone Hiking!”

Scott grew up in Seattle and Austin. Holly grew up in Littleton, Colorado. Our paths crossed in 2019. We got to talking and discovered we both loved camping, hiking, and the great outdoors. Oh! And we both liked taking a bunch of photos of our adventures too. From there, we started planning adventures in Colorado. We visited soaring arches, laid in hot springs, and danced in the street in the snow near an ice park. Scott introduced Holly to fishing. Holly introduced Scott to climbing. And then, we decided to hike the John Muir Trail. After the 211 miles and climbing the highest mountain in the contiguous US, we thought, “Hey! If we can do that and still like each other, then we should start a photography business together!” We love this business adventure as much as we love trekking through the mountains. It gives us a great excuse (as if we needed one) to get outside and capture even more photos. And we are so excited to share it all with you!

Scott (trail name: La-Z-Boy) is an outdoorsman who spends at least 25 nights a year in a tent. He has hiked more than 500 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail and helped build a new mile of the path in the Oregon Cascades. Scott got into photography after taking his first clunky digital camera to the scorching hot desert in Caprock Canyons, Texas. He was a reporter and photographer at the daily newspaper in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, before becoming a public radio reporter.

Holly (trail name: Sunshine) is an avid hiker, climbing the Colorado 14ers in her free time. She teaches high-school theatre at a private school for students with learning differences. She captures photos while trekking through Colorado’s stunning landscapes and other beautiful places around the country. She also enjoys photographing her international adventures. Some of her favorite trails have been the Salkantay Trek in Peru, The Teton Crest Trail in Wyoming, the trail to Havasupai, and the John Muir Trail in California. Holly dabbles in rock and ice climbing and sometimes “plays” the ukulele.
